During a walk, a florist discovers a seed that fell from the sky, born from a forest fire. From this seed grows Herbie, a tree-child with astonishing powers. As he grows, Herbie transforms a wasteland into a forest, attracting the greed of a ruthless developer. Faced with destruction, he ultimately finds his calling: to bring life back to nature.
Rémi Vandenitte holds a degree in illustration from the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts and in animation film from La Cambre. He works in event management, illustration, and develops animated film projects. Filmography during his studies: “Vol au vent” (2', 2005), “Le Petit Chat est mort” (4', 2006), “Corpo Industrie” (6'30, 2007), “Rhum salé” (5', 2008) & “Grise mine” (6'20, 2009).
