Generation Playmobil is a youth animated series project consisting of 26 episodes of 7 minutes each, adapted from my graduation film. The series takes place near a small neighborhood school where a group of friends experience extraordinary adventures.
Thomas Leclercq is a Belgian animation filmmaker living in Brussels. He joined La Cambre’s studio in 2013, where he creates films with absurd humor such as Sésame (2016) and The Amazing Space Doggo (2017). His graduation film, Génération Playmobils, is a cartoon full of friendship, scraped knees, and Chocomiam cookies. Since then, Thomas has split his time between animation and comic book creation (when he’s not cooking delicious croque-monsieur sandwiches).
