Vincent Bierrewaerts was born on  November 14, 1973, in Braine-le-Comte, Belgium. After secondary studies  focused on visual arts, he enrolled at the National School of Visual Arts of  La Cambre (ENSAV), graduating in 2001. One of his student films, Bouf, made  in 1998, won the Golden Palm at the World Short Film Festival in Huy in 1999.  A prolific artist, Vincent Bierrewaerts strives with each new short film to  find the technique that best serves the story he wants to tell.
